Clark Head Quarters 17th U. S. Vols. " on end-paper. This copy matches the description in Brussel, East to West, p.142, including the red cloth printed in black, and the half title. These stories were not printed in book form in England for another two years. The other copies we find being offered are in brown cloth with gilt lettering.
